The Filippino Association of Denmark 

The Filippino Association of Denmark (FAD) was founded in 1970, by request of the Philippine consulate as there was a need for an organisation which would represent the large group of newly arrived Filippinos in Denmark. From a humble beginning of organising social events for the community, the FAD grew into an organisation which sought out to support its members through the experience of integration. Today, the filipino community is a thriving, and growing minority in the Danish society with more than 8,000 filipinos residing in Denmark. The FAD seeks to maintain its role as a supporter of this ever evolving community.
